If I haven't already spoken with you about it, I will be interning at Lincoln Center's educational non-profit, the Lincoln Center Institute. I am working as the Resources & Technology Development intern, writing blogs, doing marketing work and developing the Institute's first social media pages. I can't wait to get started!
In the middle of June, I will be volunteering with my mom at the 2009 PGA U.S. Open (that's golf, not tennis!). It's at Long Island's Bethpage Golf Course, which I will get to thanks to the lovely LIRR (Long Island Rail Road, for those of you not from the area). Yes, it will be a lot of hard work. And yes, there will be many, many, MANY important people there. Networking time, baby! Oh, and my mom and I will DEFINITELY be taking a drive/stroll through the various sectors of The Hamptons. I will no longer be a Hamptons virgin, and that is one loss I am proud to brag about!
I am also meeting up with many East Coast friends I never get to see. I can't wait to experience the city through a New Yorker's eyes with them! What adventures occur with this group are yet to be determined...
